02.24.2012 FAIRFIELD - Senior heavyweight Ryne Rich
is the lone Troy wrestler still standing after the first day
of the Division I district wrestling tournament Friday at
Fairfield High School.

But with Troy's Kevin McGraw and Piqua's Brandon Pummill
going head-to-head, the 182-pound bout certainly had that

He had to go for the opening. "He left his foot out
there, and you can't be doing that," Troy's senior
285-pounder said. "I knew if I went for it and got it, he'd
go right to his back." And he nailed it.

Tyler Sparks gave the fans a little more drama. No
matter how the matches went, though, all three of Troy's
seniors came away winners.

12.18.2011 PICKERINGTON - With Ryne Rich and a crop
of talented youngsters leading the way, the Troy Trojans
placed half of their wrestlers Saturday at the Pickerington
Invitational.

at Edgewood
12.11.2011 TRENTON - Doug Curnes will take
quality over quantity. Which left the Troy wrestling
coach extremely happy with his team's performance at the
Edgewood Invitational Saturday. Led by 182-pound
champion Kevin McGraw, the Trojans had seven wrestlers place
and finished 11th as a team with 119 points.

12.02.2011 Two parts district experience. A
heavy dose of youth, experience - and experienced youth. A
dash of veterans trying to turn things around individually.
The Troy Trojans have found a good recipe to build on this
season.
