Parks Earns Three Medals At BlueJay Classic

Troy track and field saw Alyssa Parks earn three medals at the BlueJay Classic.
Parks was fifth in the pole vault (9-feet), seventh in the 300 hurdles (49.40), and sixth in the high jump (4-feet, 8-inches), while Jacob Hinman was a 2-time individual medalist, taking fourth in the 200 in 23.53 and fifth in the 400 in 52.26.
Also on the boys' side Avery Sens was third in the shot put (49-feet, 4-inches), Colin Loveland was fourth in the long jump (19-feet, 10 1/2-inches), with Ben Warburton fifth (19-feet, 9 1/2-inches), Evan Geer was eighth in the 1600 in 4:49.91, and Charles Oldroyd was eighth in the 100 in 11.78.
Their 4x400 relay was third in 3:31.52, their 4x100 relay was fifth in 44.67, and their 4x800 relay was fifth in 8:49.01.
