Trojan Baseball Team Drops Non-League Game To South Williamsport

Troy couldn't keep up with South Williamsport as they lost 8-2 during non-league baseball action.

Troy led 1-0 after the top of the first, then were down just 3-2 going into the third, but South rattled off five unanswered runs to secure the win.

Camryn Harwick (2-for-3) scored a run, and had an RBI, as Mason Smith (2-for-3) also had a multi-hit day.

Reed Palmer (1-for-3) scored a run, with Brendan Gilliland (1-for-4) and Joseph Frye (1-for-3) also getting hits. Camden Allen drove in a run.

Allen took the loss, going three innings to strikeout two with three walks, three hits, and four runs scored.

Palmer came on for the next two innings, striking out one with four walks, four hits, and four runs. Trevon Teribury pitched the final inning, allowing one hit.
