Trojans Sweep NTL Tri-Meet With Athens, Wyalusing

The Troy boys' track and field team rolled to a tri-meet sweep with 112 points, beating Athens (49) and Wyalusing (25).
The Troy girls were third with seven points, behind Athens (121) and Wyalusing (61).
The Trojans went 1-2-3 in the 100 with Charles Oldroyd (11.98), Jacob Hinman (12.10), and Ben Warburton (12.13).
Hinman (24.02) and Warburton (24.71) went 1-2 in the 200, with Hinman (53.86) and Warburton (56.37) going 1-2 in the 400.
Evan Geer won the 800 (2:17.48) and the 1600 (5:08.49), leading a Trojan sweep in the event as Brody Campbell (5:12.60) and Hart Houseknecht (5:27.48) were second and third.
Campbell (11:33.18) was second in the 3200 as Rylan Breidt (19.89) was second in the 110 hurdles. Breidt (47.70) won the 300 hurdles.
Troy's three relay teams - 4x100 (47.01), 4x400 (3:51.69), and the 4x800 (9:34.83) - won.
Kendrick Ross (5-feet, 10-inches) was second in the high jump as Cameron Morey (5-feet, 4-inches) was third.
Loveland won the long jump in 20-feet, with Warburton (19-feet, 10-inches) second.
Loveland (40-feet, 8-inches) and Morey (38-feet, 9-inches) went 1-2 in the triple jump.
Houseknecht (8-feet, 6-inches), and teammate Ben Osgood (8-feet) went 1-2 in the pole vault.
Avery Sens (116-feet, 6-inches) was second in the discus, second in the javelin (126-feet, 5-inches), and won the shot put (47-feet, 6-inches). Gordon Weaver (112-feet, 11-inches) took second in the javelin.
For the girls, Haylie Davies-Grove was third in the 400 (1:13.61), with Kylee Roy (18.90) second in the 100 hurdles.
