Troy Girls Repeat As Williamson Volleyball Tournament Champions

Troy volleyball repeated as Williamson Tournament champions.

The Trojans beat the hosts in the finals 25-19, 25-19, while sweeping Canton (25-22, 25-18) in the semifinals, and taking the quarterfinals match (25-15).

The Trojans went 7-1 in pool action, splitting with Williamson (25-23, 22-25), then sweeping Athens (25-17, 25-20), NEB (25-17, 25-12), and Northern Potter (25-18, 25-23).

Aryana Andrus had 44 kills, nine blocks, eight digs, six aces, and two assists for Troy as Brenna Jackson had 48 assists, 13 kills, 15 aces, 14 digs, and one block.

Haidyn Watson added 11 kills, eight aces, two assists, 21 digs, and one block, while Liana Lyon notched 19 assists, three digs, three aces, and one kill.

Alexa Lawrence had nine kills, nine aces, and 20 digs, as Amber White finished with seven kills, nine digs, one block, two aces, and one assist.

Bella Wood had six kills, two aces, six blocks, one assist, and one dig, with Alli Bailey getting 38 digs, one block, four kills, 10 aces, and nine assists.
