Troy lost 8-4 to Wellsboro in six innings during a rain shortened NTL baseball game Tuesday.
It was 2-1 Hornets after one, and they got got a run with two outs in each of the top of the second and third to go up 4-1.
Troy rallied in the bottom half of the third with three runs to knot the game up at 4-all.
Wellsboro came back with a run in the fourth, then pulled away with three runs in the sixth.
Logan Loxley (2-for-3) had a double with 3-RBI as Reed Palmer (2-for-3) had a double with an RBI, and a run scored.
Brendan Gilliland (2-for-3) scored twice with Logunn Heasley (1-for-3) also crossing home. Trey Teribury (1-for-2) chipped in with a hit.
Frank Harper started, and went four innings with six strikeouts, six walks, four hits, and five runs scored.
Palmer tossed the final two innings with two strikeouts, two walks, three hits, and three runs.
Gage Baltzey got the win for Wellsboro, going six innings with three strikeouts, two walks, seven hits, and four runs scored.
Coen Tennis (2-for-4) had a home run with 3-RBI.
In the bottom of the first the Trojans rallied with two outs as Gilliland and Palmer had back to back singles, setting up a Loxley hit that drove in Gilliland to make it 2-1.
In the third Heasley got the rally going by reaching on a hit, then Gilliland legged out a slow roller to put two runners on.
Palmer brought Heasley home with a double, then Loxley doubled in Gilliland and Palmer for the 4-4 score.
Troy (4-3) hosts Towanda on Wednesday with a 4:30 p.m. start.
