Big First Half Leads Troy Girls Past Athens

Troy pulled away from Athens, 55-38, for an NTL girls' basketball win Friday.

Alyssa Parks had 15 points to lead the Trojans, while Kailyn Sterling added 12 points on 6-for-7 shooting, plus four assists and two blocks.

Katie Lackey netted 11 points with Gloria Andrews scoring eight to go with three steals. Giana Renzi and Ella VanNoy had four points each, as Kendall Allen scored one. Madelyn Seeley chipped in with four rebounds.
